Sometimes when people are on a website they don't realize that there are actually REAL people who are on it. Today is the so called Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving where people get up in the middle of the night to find great bargains at a much lesser price than retail and I must say that it really stunk except for the Good Will Store where I was actually please to buy something. The more people that join this website, the more people will never be lonely or depressed. I have other support systems working for me than just this one here but this site is just as important as those other ones . There are differences between the Military and the Federal government from what I have witnessed and the difference are that in the military it is duty, honor and country and in the Federal Government it is okay, It is just a pay check. Today I start my Thanksgiving vacation and I am shopping at the Good Will Store on Black Friday,the day after Thanksgiving. Believe it or not I love that store. Sometimes I just do not understand the Federal Government of the United States of America. They give you all sorts of classes and training on computer security and CAC,Civilian Access Cards but then someone hacked into my computer aand they tell me this is okay at my agency cause other people can log on to a government computer. I am confused about this. If you go to security about this you are concidered a whistle blower. What is this world comming to.

My son,Steve is now 16 and a half and he gets about fifty dollars a week for an allowance and he wants a car.I told him that he would have to work to get one cause the insurance is high and I even got him an easy job where he could make good money and get tips.The people know me and will teach him the ropes of being a waiter or he could get a job at the supermarket. And for anyone that is gifted it is like a crack addicts dream. Books & books & more books.
I will be there...of course!!! Looking...hunting for books that will catch my interest.

I am pretty sad today! I saw the memorial for the thirteen soldiers killed at Ft. Hood but I also have a church friend whose husband was the second to be killed by the sniper who is or was executed today. Jim Martin was killed by the snipers and he was a great man. His wife Billie Martin did not participate in the civil suit so I don't know if they recieved ny money but not amount of money could not have replaced Jim. The guy who killed and wounded people in Texas, I used to see him in the hallway when I went to the mess hall or PX at the Walter Reed Hospital . I have even said hello to him in the hallways. My son woke up this morning around 4 am, turned on the news and saw Walter Reed on the news. The soldier who was stationed at Ft. Hood who killed some other soldiers had just come from Walter Reed before he was stationed at Ft. Hood. So - I have been sucked up into the vacuum of network plumbing for the past couple of weeks as we have a number of very complex projects in the works along with some upcoming job changes. I have been able to use the lessons I learned here to keep a sense of balance in all of the chaos and maintain a positive outlook despite quite a number of challenges.
